Working across the Parts department and Vehicle Servicing, you’ll get to know all the ins and outs of the vehicles and deliver the best services to our customers.

What you'll do

As well as receiving on-the-job training, you’ll be trained at our state-of-the-art training facility - GTG Training, where you will be regularly assessed as you work towards achieving a Digital Application Support SCQF Level 6 qualification along with a customer service qualification.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Handle all customer requirements for service, parts and vehicle repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Communicate with your customers of any faults or repairs found on their vehicle and provide them with clear and accurate solutions.
  • Liaise with the workshop to ensure they have the correct parts and all the information from the customer is accurate for a seamless visit.
  • Use our online parts catalogues to look up accurate parts and source them when required.
  • Receive and dispatch parts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with various online systems to manage the customers’ visits and use them to communicate efficiently with our customers and your internal colleagues.
  • Assist and control our parts stock.
  • Work with a team in a busy environment.

Entry requirements

Scotland

You must have gained or be working towards National 4 or above (or accredited equivalent) in Maths, English and one other subject.

England

You must have gained or be working towards GCSE 4-9 or above (or accredited equivalent) in Maths, English and one other subject.

Progression

96% of our apprentices are kept on in full-time employment with Arnold Clark after their apprenticeship. And your training doesn’t stop there – you can then go on to become a an aftersales advisor, a senior advisor, a supervisor or even an aftersales manager; the list is almost endless!
